Obama & Edwards weren’t VP candidates anyway

If people though Barack Obama might be running for VP, think again. He won’t get the nod, and neither will John Edwards. If Barack Obama thought he was going to get VP, he should also think again… and since the VP slot is obviously no longer his, this may allow him to get more agressive in attacking front-runner Hillary Clinton. Clinton, after getting baraged at Tuesday’s debate, made a statement that quite obviously cuts any future, possible ties to Obama. Bill Richardson might be the only one on stage who remained a possibility for a cabinet post…
From CNN Political Ticker: “New York Sen. Hillary Clinton released a new web video Wednesday slamming her rivals for Democratic presidential nomination accusing them of participating in ‘politics of pile-on’ following the latest Democratic National Committee debate. ‘I seemed to be the topic of great conversation and consternation,’ she said in the video. ‘And that’s for a reason.’ … In a press release, Clinton’s campaign said Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards ‘undermined the central premises of their own candidacies’ and said their tactics show that they are ‘desperate to gain traction in the polls.’
