Tommy we hardly knew ya
Tommy Thompson is the second Republican candidate out of the race, following his poor showing in the Iowa Straw Poll.
The Washington Post quotes Thompson as saying, “I have no regrets about running. I felt my record as Governor of Wisconsin and Secretary of Health and Human Services gave me the experience I needed to serve as President, but I respect the decision of the voters.”
Thompson’s departure formally leaves the race with no Thompsons.
